Normally when I am working with clients, I use disposable mascara wands to apply brow gels and mascara. The other day, when I ran out of them, in a panic I rummaged through my personal cosmetics bag and pulled out a package of dental picks that let you brush between your teeth. Surprising, I found that they applied the mascara more precisely than my usual mascara wands! While they won’t give you dramatic fluffy lashes, they work well for someone with small eyes, or who wants natural and clump-free lashes. They are also perfect for getting a smooth application on the lower lashes. The best way to use these mini brushes is to coat them with the excess product on the tip of your regular mascara wand, and then apply it as you normally do. For eyebrows, simply dip them into the wax, gel, or pomade and brush in upward strokes. You can gently wash the mini brushes with soap and water to reuse them (just not on your teeth!)
